Easy to assemble and put up. I bought 2 of these and they are sturdy enough to take heavy books and ornaments.

|Does the job,
Positives:
1- These are very easy to set up. It should take about 5 minutes to put one of these together.
2- They are very sturdy and can hold as many books as you can fit into them (whether placed horizontally or vertically).
Negative:
The only reason I have given them four stars is a small issue when they are placed vertically; they tilt to one side very slightly as one corner is very slightly higher then the opposite corner on the base.
Even with this tilt, however, the shelves are very stable. I have placed four vertically and no one who has seen them has noticed (or at least commented on) the tilt yet.

|Not enough fittings,
A very sturdy and good quality unit, but unfortunately it is very misleading to show it displayed vertically – there are not enough fittings supplied to do so, and the pre-drilled holes only allow for horizontal mounting. Disappointing, as I had wanted to display it vertically.
